The conference will take place at the Main Hall ("Paraninfo") of the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao.

It is also called "Bizkaia Aretoa".

Bizkaia Aretoa, the new Paraninfo (Main Hall) of the University of the Basque Country is placed in the modern central emblematic area of Bilbao. Its structure, in form of L, is open to the riverside and near Guggenheim Museum (modern art) and the Beaux-Arts Museum (classic art).

Next to the Bizkaia Aretoa, the biggest building of Euskadi is situated, with 165 metres and 41 floors. Its name: Iberdrola's tower.

Bizkaia Aretoa is an emblematic building designed by the architect Álvaro Siza. It is located near (1 minute walking) to a tram station (Guggenheim station) and near (6 minutes walking) to a metro station (Moyua station).
